How long have you been practising?: Since 2010
The best thing about what I do?: Having a positive influence in people’s lives. Remedial massage was the only thing that had ever helped my back pain, which resulted from an accident (an embarrassing one!) about 20 years ago. It relieved my pain and helped me to manage it. I want to make people feel better in the same way. Then I discovered Craniosacral, which has changed my life. My chronic back, knee and hip pain have since disappeared through treatment, which I still find amazing! In addition to the physical benefits, I have felt a huge sense of relief from emotional trauma that has been resolved by this treatment. Overall the benefits I’ve experienced personally from craniosacral therapy have a had a truly profound impact on my life, which is why I feel so passionate about my work, as I know that other people will see similar benefits if they try it for themselves.
What excites you about working at Physio Effect? The plans for expansion. Bringing Craniosacral into the clinical world, it’s great to find physiotherapists that are open to promoting complementary therapies.
What are your dreams for your service within the company in the next year or so? To attract new clients for Craniosacral and Reflexology treatment, in particular mothers and babies.
Build an established customer portfolio that seeks regular treatment for preventative reasons.
By offering a holistic approach to pain management, I am hopeful that Physio Effect can become recognised as a truly unique clinic in the Glasgow area.
