How long have you been practising?: Since 2007
Please explain the service you provide in your own words: I have a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries in clients ranging from high-level athletes to people who have suffered work-related injuries. I've completed my training in Clinical Pilates, using it as a successful rehabilitative tool in my practice. My professional interests in treating the spine have grown over the years working closely with spinal orthopaedic surgeons and neurosurgeons. I also have a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions in ante and post-natal women.
What's the best thing about doing what you do?: I enjoy the challenge of being able to problem solve when diagnosing and treating injuries. I get great satisfaction in helping a person achieve their goals whether it be to return to sport or work pain-free after an injury. Being a physiotherapist, I also enjoy constantly learning new skills and gaining knowledge from ongoing research, clinical studies and continuing my professional development through courses and seminars.
What excites you about working at Physio Effect?: I am able to work with an excellent team of people with a wide range of knowledge and skills.
What are your dreams for your service within the company in the next year or so?: Developing the Clinical Pilates service and other rehabilitation exercise classes in our studio
