Julie McSherry - Clinic Receptionist

Please explain the service you provide in your own words: Day to day in the clinic, I provide information about appointment types and our different services. As well as that,  I aim to provide a warm, friendly and welcoming face to help people feel more at ease upon first contact, prior to meeting their physiotherapist. 

• What's the best thing about doing what you do?: The best part of my day is coming across the diversity of people attending the clinic. Meeting new people everyday is what's most interesting and every day is different.

• What excites you about working at Physio Effect?: Due to the nature of my role where I am usually the first person people meet when entering our clinic,  it is interesting and fun chatting to different people and finding out people's back stories when they are waiting in the reception area. 

• Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? When I'm not being the taxi for my teenagers, I love to study and experience all things spiritual, especially meditation. My greatest joy is to assist others in their exploration of consciousness. Being vegan I do a bit of weekend cooking in an effort to find something to eat!
