Mariam has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries in clients ranging from high-level athletes to people who have suffered work-related injuries.
She has completed her training in Clinical Pilates, using it as a successful rehabilitative tool in her practice. Mariam’s professional interests in treating the spine have grown over the years working closely with spinal orthopaedic surgeons and neurosurgeons.
Mariam enjoys the challenge of being able to problem solve when diagnosing and treating injuries, and gets great satisfaction in helping a person achieve their goals whether it be to return to sport or go back to work pain-free after an injury. Being a physiotherapist, she also enjoys constantly learning new skills and gaining knowledge from ongoing research and clinical studies.
